Artist Information
Native Staten Islander Ann Trinita Sohm, 65, of New Brighton, was a gifted and accomplished soprano, music and voice teacher, painter of icons, and poet. She specialized in icon painting, and was taught by the late Rev. John Walsted of New Brighton. Her work has been commissioned by various churches and exhibited at the Staten Island Museum. She enjoyed writing poetry and many of her poems were published.
