Little is known about the British artist E.W. Nevil. The name is potentially a pseudonym. On some of his other work, he signs as "E. Nevil."
His active career ranges between 1880 and 1900. Nevil traveled widely, but favored counties in northern England. He is known for his continental scenes including Bruge, Antwerp, Rheims, and Wales. Watercolors were his preferred medium, although the artist also used oil paints.
