Pieter Stobbaerts (Brussels, 1865-1948). Realistic painter of landscapes and interiors. Cousin of Jan Stobbaerts. Education at the Brussels academy (1879-1890, J. Quinaux, J. Portaels). Shows with the Union of Arts and is co-founder of the Kring Voorwaards (1885), is chairman of Le Lierre and member of the art circle of Laeken. Painting in Brabant, Flanders and the Netherlands.
