Thomas Harris Robinson was born in Pictou, Nova Scotia. He was working in New York City by 1856 and thereafter divided his time between NYC and Providence Rhode Island. He exhibited at the Boston Athenaeum, National Academy of Design, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and is represented in The Worchester Art Museum. He painted Animals and Zoological subjects, especially Cattle in Landscapes. Also Cityscapes, City Views, and Garden Landscapes, Portraits and Genre related subjects.
